A.E. Nathan is a closely held family owned converter of fabric. Currently the business is being run by the third and fourth generations. A.E. Nathan itself is over 100 years old, but has only been in the hands of the current owners since the 80's. A.E. Nathan specializes in flannel, fleece and quilting fabrics. A.E. Nathan sells to major fabric retail chains, quilt shops, online stores and international customers.
A.E. Nathan ships all of its products from its G&S South Warehouse in Seneca, South Carolina.
A.E. Nathan's headquarters are located at 49 West 37th Street, 14th floor, N.Y., N.Y. 10018 between 5th and 6th avenue on the north side of the street. Other companies related to A.E. The current owners' family has been in the flannel business since the early 1930's and they take great pride in the flannel they produce. Case in point, the A.E. Nathan flannel construction has not changed as cotton prices have risen. The most popular print and solid flannels are 44/45" wide with a construction of 40x44, 20x10 and produced in Pakistan. This construction and width are slightly superior to most other products in the marketplace.
